MULTI ENGINE RATING

This initial stage covers the handling of twin engine aircraft, as well as flight performance on only one engine. For each subsequent Type Endorsement you will then require a short check. A Twin endorsement is a necessity for the budding career pilot, likewise many private pilots prefer the extra speed and security of two engines. The training for the MULTI - ENGINE ENDORSEMENT is usually performed in one of our twin engine aircraft listed below.

Twin Endorsement, Average 6.0 Hours Dual Flown by Students in one or more of the following aircraft:

INSTRUMENT RATING

The Command Instrument Rating is a rewarding and challenging rating which is a necessity for the career oriented pilot, or the private flyer who does not wish to be restricted by weather. As a working pilot, this rating is a necessity for multi engine charter operations and is a prerequisite for most employers.

In addition the Command Instrument Rating will improve your flying skills and confidence whether you hold a Commercial or Private Licence. Your Instructors for this rating are professional pilots with extensive experience in airline and all weather commercial charter operations.

C.A.S.A. minimum requirements is 30 hours instrument time of which not less than 15 hours shall be instrument flight time in the category of aircraft in which the rating is sought (i.e. single or twin engine).

NIGHT RATING

Why limit yourself to just daylight flying? The Night VFR Rating allows you to fly at night in good weather conditions. Just the rating you need to get you flying before the crack of dawn for that early start to the holidays, or perhaps not having to worry as much as you might have when you've discovered that you are running out of daylight returning from that trip away.

Night VFR Rating, C.A.S.A. minimum requirement is 10 Hours Dual

Average Hours Flown By Students:
  • 2 Hours Dual (Skipper BE77)
  • 8 Hours Dual (Cessna 172)
  • 2 Hours Dual Simulator
  • Briefings 7 Hours (this component NO CHARGE)
