After completing the flying requirements to achieve this, you can take a friend or family member flying over Stradbroke Island or as far south as Beaudesert. Archerfield Airport provide two scenic training areas for you to fly within. Our experienced and helpful Instructors at Hempels Aviation will give you the confidence and teach you the skills, to become the Captain of our Two Seat training aircraft. NAVIGATION A licence that will give you the opportunity to escape… for a weekend to Great Keppell Island… or for a week in Sydney? Wherever you want to go… whatever you want to do… with a private pilot’s licence you can fly yourself there. The licence is designed for recreational flying, as well as providing an important step in the training syllabus for the Commercial Pilot’s Licence. This stage in your training will cover a series of Navigation exercises necessary to train you to fly anywhere in the world, by day, in visual weather. The Private Pilots Licence quote is based on flying in a Cessna 172, a four seat single aircraft. However, the advantage of learning at Hempels Aviation, is that you can chose from any of our fleet of 25 aircraft to complete your navigational training. ONLINE CYBER EXAMS Hempels Aviation offer some pilot examinations online so they can be completed any where in the world on the Internet. Exam's available Online to date include: Private Pilots Licence (PPL) Theory Exam's for Aeroplane and Helicopter Private IFR Theory Exam's Please Note: Learning to fly other than for a career incurs GST. The Commercial Pilot Licence Courses are exempt from GST. Ratings and Endorsements are subject to GST unless considered to be a career enhancement.
