The Commercial Pilots Licence is the licence required for a career in aviation. There are more than 1500 operators and companies within Australia alone with whom to seek employment. Hempels Aviation has the largest fleet of aircraft available for commercial training and actual Charter work.

Many of these aircraft are the most commonly used in commercial aviation in the country today. Career pilots from our Commercial Pilots Course have been employed in all areas of aviation.

Commercial Pilots Licence, C.A.S.A. minimum:
For 150 hour syllabus (full - time or part - time)
(a) 150 Hours Total Flight Time in VH - Registered Aircraft with:
  • 70 hours Pilot in Command with,
  • 20 hours Navigation and
  • 10 hours Instrument Flight Time
For 200 hour syllabus;
(b) 200 hours Total Flight (part - time) with:
  • 100 hours Pilot in Command with,
  • 20 hours Navigation and
  • 10 hours Instrument Flight Time

 Please Note: Learning to fly other than a career incurs GST. The Commercial Pilot Licence Courses are exempt from GST. Ratings and Endorsements are subject to GST unless considered to be a career enhancement. Quotes are based upon current rates and are subject to change to be in line with fluctuations in fuel, oil and government charges. Quoted is the costing for a person of average ability. Should additional training be required it will be charged at the applicable rate.
